On February 22, the Tribe team took part in the Grand Parade – a themed procession that serves as the culmination of the carnival, which is held annually in Limassol and is considered part of Cyprus’s intangible cultural heritage.
This year, the carnival group organized by Tribe appeared in the roles of Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, inspired by iconic symbols of 1950s America. The concept of a “Las Vegas wedding” was complemented by children dressed as little angels, performing as small cupids.

Snow-white costumes and bright accent details made our participants stand out within the procession and attracted the attention of spectators along the entire route. Music, applause, and the lively response from the audience never stopped for a moment, creating the very carnival atmosphere that brings Limassol together each year with guests from across the island.
“Every year the Grand Parade impresses with its scale and costumes, and this year we wanted to add a bit of rock ’n’ roll and glamour and give the audience a piece of legendary 1950s America. We carefully thought through every detail of the looks to create a bright, memorable show, and we are glad that the audience appreciated our efforts,” said Olga Makrova, HR Director at Tribe. “For us, this is not just participation in a procession, but an opportunity to contribute to the atmosphere of a major city celebration that Limassol is rightly proud of.”

In 2026, more than 30,000 people took part in the Grand Parade, which lasted about five hours. This marks another record set by Limassol over more than 100 years of carnival history.
